Pusha T – Wrath Of Caine [Mixtape Trailer Video]

G.O.O.D. Music MC, Pusha T, returns today with a nice teaser trailer to get us hyped for his upcoming mixtape, Wrath Of Caine. The clip is a gritty, black and white shot video in which we are taken right into the belly of the beast; the streets. The short, yet effective clip, finds a number of different gutter locales being filmed.

We see a street corner with a smoky car idling, some fellas on the corners with their problem solvers, and more fellas on the block tokin’ and chokin’. If this shit doesn’t help build anticipation, I’m not sure what would. You better keep your eyes peeled for Wrath Of Caine, which is coming sooner than you’d like to think.

Rick Ross Cancels North Carolina Concerts After Receiving Death Threats From The Gangster Disciples [Video]

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One of the most popular hip hop artists in the country has canceled concert stops in Charlotte and Greensboro for this weekend. The cancellation comes on the heels of death threats but no specific reason was given for the cancellations.

A Maybach Music Group concert tour headlining Rick Ross was scheduled to appear Friday in Greensboro and Saturday at the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte. Rappers Wale and Meek Mill were scheduled to appear as well.

The threats stem from the Gangster Disciples, who have a beef with Ross. The North Carolina Chapter recently put out a YouTube video warning him to stay out of Charlotte.

Tickets can be refunded starting Friday, Live Nation Entertainment group said in a statement.

In the rap video the Disciples are upset because Ross mentions the name of the founder of the street gang and uses the Star of David to promote himself. That symbol is used by the gang.

“I think fans should be concerned. I think the parents should be concerned because you never know,” said Paul Scott on Wednesday. Scott is a minister from Durham who is also a hip hop journalist.

Scott has been highly critical of the violence sparked by rap artists.

“Hip hop does not represent the real street. The commercial Hip Hop that Rick Ross promotes represents Wall Street and Wall Street cares nothing about the loss of human life if they can make a dollar.”

Snoop Lion Releases New Trailer For “Reincarnation” [VIDEO]

The artists formerly known as Snoop Dogg has released an extended trailer from his new film chronicling his spiritual journey to becoming Snoop Lion. The film is called Reincarnated and details Snoop’s trip to the island of Jamaica in which he immersed himself with the people and the culture. In addition to his transformation, the film itself also details the recording process for his new album.
