Nas To Executive Produce & Make Original Music For Dance Documentary ‘Shake The Dust’

Nas will be getting involved in film making once again with the role of executive producer for the upcoming dance documentary Shake The Dust. It is being directed by Adam Sjoberg and will document the stories of young Hip-Hop fans from various regions of the world including Asia and Africa. Nas will not only be involved on the production side, but he will also be providing new, original music for the project.

“What these kids are doing around the world reminds me why I fell in love with hip-hop and how important it is as a creative and constructive outlet,” Nas said in a statement. “After hearing Adam’s vision for this project and hearing the stories, I was incredibly excited to help bring the film to global audiences who need to hear this surprising message of empowerment.”

Producer David Jacobson, who recently co-produced Lee Daniels’ The Butler, is spearheading Shake the Dust along with Sjoberg’s Loose Luggage Media and in association with Dave Stewart’s Weapons of Mass Entertainment and Wild Hair Media.

Eminem & Slaughterhouse ‘The Backroom’ Freestyle

Eminem brought his Slaughterhouse conglomerate to ‘The Backroom’ to kick some fiery bars. With Just Blaze on the 1s and 2s, Joe Budden led off with some much expected lyricism, followed by Royce, Joell, and Crooked respectively.
