French Montana Victim Of Drive-By Shooting In Philly; 1 Person Dead

This is horrifying. French Montana had finished his show at Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia last night and later hanging with entourage and fans near the tour bus when someone driving by opened fire. A 27 year-old person was shot in the stomach and later taken to Hahnemann University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Another person was also hit but in a stable condition right now.

Currently there are no suspects from the shooting but 25 people, including French Montana, his entourage and fans are being questioned by police. Three people have been taken into custody for carrying guns and investigators say that someone inside the bus returned fired after the initial shots rang out.

Says Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey:

“It’s just ignorant. You fire into a crowd and you’re gonna hit somebody. In this case, unfortunately, someone was killed. Don’t know if they had anything to do with anything, if they were a fan or what. When you find people like that, they should just never see the light of day again. I mean that kind of behavior’s just unacceptable. For me, there’s just no rehabilitation for anything like that”
