With the launch of Diddy’s new cable network Revolt premiering tonight at 8 PM EST., the hip hop mogul breaks bread with Power 105 and the Breakfast Club. Diddy speaks on the launch of Revolt, his motivation behind doing so, where New York hip hop stands, Kendrick Lamar and more. R. Kelly held a listening session for his upcoming album Black Panties for a select few people in Atlanta yesterday. The pied piper of R&B introduced the follow up to 2012′s Write Me Back to the guests by telling them “his story” and why he stays focused. During the recording, the Revolt Cameras catch the promo flyer on the screen at the back which clearly mentions the release date for the album — November 11th.

Kellz has released a couple of singles from the album so far but none of them have impressed me so I’m hoping he will turn things around because he can still be lethal.

UPDATE: The album has been pushed back to December 10th, RCA has announced. He will also be appearing on Lady Gaga’s upcoming single ‘Do What U Want’.

ScHoolboy Q was on Sway In The Morning earlier today to discuss new TDE signee Isaiah Rashad, the much talked about TDE cypher at the just aired BET Hip Hop Awards and whether Kendrick Lamar was taking shots at Drake in his verse.
