New Video: Phife Dawg – ‘Nutshell’

The Hip-Hop community is still mourning the loss of Phife Dawg aka Malik I. Taylor of The Tribe Called Quest who passed away due to complication from diabetes last month.

His team and family have decided to continue his legacy by dropping music and the video from the new album Give Thanks that he had been working on for some time now.

His wife Deisha said, “Phife loved his fans, and was so excited for them to hear his new music. I feel like he would have wanted it this way.”

The family will be donating 50% of the proceeds from the sale of the song to two organizations that were close to Phife’s heart, the American Diabetes Association and the National Kidney Foundation.
