August Alsina’s ‘Benediction’ with Rick Ross is one of the best tracks on his debut album Testimony. After releasing the emotional video for ‘FML‘ the other day, the singer hand delivered the ‘Benediction’ music video on 106 & Park yesterday. Watch the video below which was again directed by Payne Lindsey.

It was a surprise to some that Jay Z did not appear in DJ Khaled’s music video for ‘They Don’t Love You No More’ which also features Meek Mill, Rick Ross and French Montana. Now in an interview with Power 106, Khaled explains Hov’s absence, saying that he doesn’t shoot many videos and he considers himself blessed for at least getting him on the song. You know um sayin?

Khaled also played a F, Marry, Kill game with the hosts.

Just because 50 Cent is back active on the music side won’t mean he will not be continuing his movie hustle. One of his new projects is an action packed movie called The Prince where he plays a supporting with Bruce Willis whom he previously worked with in the action thriller Set Up.

Jason Patric plays the lead in this film who plays a father finding his daughter in danger when a rival assassin (Willis) kidnaps her in order to get to get revenge for some wrong done in the past. It also stars John Cusack and is directed by Brian A. Miller. Watch a trailer for the film below which hits select theaters August 22.

As you already know by now, A new G-Unit album is expected to release late November but the crew will also be putting out a mixtape before that. Continuing his conversation with MTV‘s Nadeska, 50 speaks on the progress of both projects and says that they are still looking for the ideal single that will define their 2014 sound.

J. Cole recently sat down with 247HH and VEVO for an exclusive interview. In this conversation, Cole says he is not in the internet race and doesn’t appreciate the over saturation in music as he likes to take his time in releasing his music.

Cole also expresses his dislike for reality shows, especially those focused on black culture as they are doing more bad than good.
