Tory Lanez sat down with DJ Drama recently on his StreetzIzWatchin show and discussed a lot of stuff fans have been asking him about.

The ‘Say It’ hitmaker has been going back and forth with Drake which got intensified after Drake released his ‘Summer Sixteen‘ single where he rapped: “all you boys in the new Toronto wanna be me a little”.

Last month, he claimed that he was a fan of Drake and wasn’t sure what the Toronto superstar had against him. But in this interview, which seem to have taken place just before the Super Bowl last month, he talks in length about past issues with Drake (beginning around 6 minute mark). The rising singer from Toronto says maybe Drake feels “threatened” by him that he took a shot on his ‘Summer Sixteen’ single.

Then around the 15 minute mark, Tory goes on to talk about his sound and claims that he’s one of the innovators and taste makers of the current “R&B Thuggy’ wave which got overlooked for years. He claims artists like Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj & Bryson Tiller are currently doing what he was pushing years ago.

Maybe Tory hasn’t done his research. Sigh.

A couple of weeks ago, Fabolous posted a photo of himself with Jadakiss from 2016 CIAA weekend, the caption of which said “Freddy Vs. Jason coming soon”. Neither of the two have spoken about it since then, but speculations were that the two will be working on a joint mixtape of sorts.

Now in an interview with Bootleg Kev, Fabolous has confirmed that the two are indeed putting out a whole project together and it won’t be just a mixtape but a full digital only album available on iTunes etc. He also talks about some of his classic records, almost being done with a new album which couldn’t come out due to a problem with his production house, the Joey Bada$$-Troy Beef beef and more. DJ Khaled has opened up new avenues for himself after his success with Snapchat. He’s everywhere now and on his latest stop on Power 106 in L.A., he talked about some of the stuff he has coming up both on the music and business front.

He spoke on the recent photos and video on his Instagram with Kim Kardashian, announcing that he’s got something special coming soon with Mrs. West but can’t unveil the details yet. He also talked about some of his biggest songs of his career so far and revealed (at the 9 minute mark) that he is currently going back & forth with Kendrick Lamar and Top Dawg regarding creating a new “anthem” for the fans.
