Yo Gotti is in full promo mode for his forthcoming album The Art Of Hustle with his documentary Born Hustler and his new video for ‘Down In The DM’.

Along with his artist Blac Youngsta, he stopped by at The Breakfast Club to talk about staying out of people’s business, signing new artists and why he’s hesitant to sign female rappers, the success of ‘Down In The DM’, the album and a lot more. Blac Youngsta pretty much just counted money for the whole interview.

Diddy Discovers Surprising Family Secrets on ‘Finding Your Roots’ Episode

Diddy aka Puff Daddy is the latest guest on PBS’ Finding Your Roots show with host Henry Louis Gates Jr. where he gets knowledge about his lineage.

In the clip, he learns of the stunning fact that his great-grandfather was born in Maryland a free man, a rare occurrence in those times.

“Make no mistake about it, man, this is not typical of the black experience,” host Henry Louis Gates Jr. tells the mogul. “For 90 percent of the African-American people who sat where you’ve sat when I’ve done their family tree, no free ancestors.”

Rhymefest speaks on his Kanye Needs Mental Counseling Tweet

Rhymefest has worked with Kanye West very closely since almost the beginning of the superstar’s career. He has writing credits on some of ‘Ye’s most critically acclaimed songs like ‘Jesus Walks’, ‘Glory’, ‘Power’ and even ‘New Slaves’ which appeared on the last album Yeezus.

But it seems like the G.O.O.D. Music affiliate isn’t very happy with Kanye’s recent antics and behavior. In response to a fan on Twitter, Rhymefest said that his brother “needs help” in the form spiritual and mental counseling. He added that he should step away from the public and yes men and focus on trying to “heal”.

Noisey Bompton: Growing up with Kendrick Lamar (Documentary)

Noisey Bompton is a new documentary made by the same people who made the controversial documentaries Noisey Atlanta and Noisey Chiraq. The new one centering around Kendrick Lamar is the first episode in an eight part series on VICE’s upcoming TV network VICELAND.

Part 1 of Kendrick Lamar episode has been released today in which the makers travel to Compton, California and get the real feel of the culture and surroundings. They talk to K.Dot and some of his childhood homies to better understand his growing up in the city.

“Compton, California, is one of hip-hop’s most celebrated locales, the birthplace of acts like N.W.A. and, more recently, Kendrick Lamar. It’s also home to a complicated gang culture. Noisey Bompton centers around Kendrick Lamar and the friends he grew up with on the West Side of Compton, many of whom feature on the cover of his album ‘To Pimp A Butterfly.’ In the first of six segments, we sit down with Kendrick to talk about his acclaimed albums, pay a visit to his high school, Centennial, and get to know his childhood friend Lil L.

Noisey premieres on VICELAND March 1 at 10PM.
