(VIDEO) August Alsina – ‘Song Cry’

August Alsina released his new album This Thing Called Life today via NNTIME/Def Jam. And although he isn’t very happy with the way Def Jam handled the release, the album is sounding real smooth.

He releases the music video for the album standout ‘Song Cry’ today which has him deserted in the desert and thinking deep about struggles of life. He told Fader: “It’s my reality on wax. I wanted the video to be more abstract and take me to a place visually where I haven’t been before.‎”

August Alsina Returns To The Breakfast Club

August Alsina made his way back to the Breakfast Club on Power 105 this morning to promote his new album This Thing Called Life.

He spoke about his album getting released for stream early by Def Jam without his permission, the hard work that he’s put in, his crazy fan base, his family issues, suicidal thoughts, the tour with Chris brown getting canceled, his industry friends and much more.

50 Cent Clowns Rick Ross ‘Black Market’ Album Sales (Video)

When you watch stuff like this, you can say 50 Cent is back.

The rapper interrupted an interview on Thisis50 radio where he pulled out his phone to peep the first week sales for Rick Ross new album Black Market. At the the time of publishing this article, it is currently at 34k sold with 80% retailer counting complete, according to HDD. He also confidently claims that this is after Rozay bought copies of the album himself.

Following that, he briefly talks about season 3 of Power, his upcoming FOX comedy show My Friend 50, teases another show he signed on to today and being a fan of Jeremih’s Late Nights album.
