Things got extremely awkward recently when Joe Budden crossed paths with Consequence in between their interviews at Hot 97.

The tension between the two “Love & Hip Hop New York” co-stars has been bubbling ever since Cons said some negative things about Joe in interviews with The Breakfast Club and Vlad TV.

While at Hot 97 yesterday Joe confronted Cons to see what all the talk was about. Joe said he wasn’t used to seeing people on a show one day then giving a negative interview about him the next.

Cons placed the blame on Raqi Thunda, saying she had instigated things with disparaging remarks about Joe. Cons also said he was gassed up in the interviews by the hosts which led to him saying slick sh*t about Joe.

Artist manager and reality television star Mendeecees Harris’s legal troubles continue to mount.

Harris is already facing a sexual abuse charge in New Jersey and now The Democratic Chronicle is reporting that the cast member of VH1′s popular Love and Hip Hop franchise is also facing drug charges in Rochester, New York.

Court documents revealed that Harris and two other men, Ronald Walker and Tyrus Harris, were charged with trafficking $2.5 million worth of heroin and cocaine from 2005 and 2012.

Authorities seized over $1.5 million dollars from safety deposit boxes associated with the defendants. $407,000 worth of jewelry (including Hublot, Rolex, and Cartier watches) and a 2012 Range Rover were also confiscated. Properties in Atlanta and Baltimore may be forfeited as well.

On January 24, Harris turned himself in for arrest and is expected to be arraigned in the drug case after completing his trial for sexual abuse of a 15-year-old in Jersey. Records show that Tyrus Harris and Walker pleaded not guilty at their arraignment on the drug trafficking charges.

Harris is the long-time boyfriend of fellow Love and Hip Hop star Yandy Smith. He is also the manager of rappers Vado and Webstar.

R&B songstress Keyshia Cole is known for making music that is the soundtrack for the brokenhearted and angry. However, she didn’t need any music to prove how mad she was at Michelle Williams‘ performance at last night’s Super Bowl.

After Beyonce tore New Orleans’ Superdome up with a her performance and the surprise reunion of Destiny’s Child, Keyshia Cole took to the Twitter streets to praise Bey and throw mad shade at the red head step child of DC. Keyshia tweeted, “I think I was frightened to blink for a sec. Then Michell sung and woke my ass up from my daze! She always f*ckN the groove up.”

Michelle hasn’t responded to Cole’s jab, but she did post a tweet earlier in the week about not allowing the negativity to take up space in your brain. Though Williams hasn’t said anything to Keyshia Cole, plenty of fans have spoken up on Michelle’s behalf by calling the “Heaven Sent” singer petty and childish.

Keyshia Cole didn’t have to air Michelle Williams out like that on a social media site, but it’s not like she said anything most of Destiny’s Child fans haven’t been saying for years. How many jokes have you made about Beyonce and Kelly treating Michelle like a field slave by only giving her the bridge on a track to sing? How many times have you listened to a DC song only to skip it when Michelle’s part comes on? If everyone loved Michelle they way they say, there wouldn’t be a Tumblr called Poor Michelle. Let’s be honest with ourselves. Obviously, Keyshia Cole is.

Muslim civil rights activist Malcolm Shabazz has reportedly been arrested by the FBI, this according to reports from PressTV.

Shabazz was on his way to Tehran, Iran to attend a conference on Hollywoodism, which is in its third year. Little information regarding Malcolm Shabazz’s arrest because the FBI is refusing to release any details about where Shabazz is being held and why he was placed under arrest in the first place. The Hollywoodism International Conference welcomes activists, filmmakers, and scholars from around the world to discuss global cinema and how it’s used by different countries to push their nationalistic views on the rest of the world.

Malcolm Shabazz’s arrest came on the night the Lifetime film “Betty & Coretta” premiered. The movie starred Angela Bassett as the wife of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Betty Shabazz was played by the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige. “Betty & Coretta” follows the friendship forged between the two women after their civil rights leader husbands were assassinated. Both families have showed their displeasure with the project because they say they weren’t consulted about the project before it began production.

Ilyasah Shabazz has been the most vocal about the film’s holes. She gave an interview to The Washington Post, saying her mother Betty Shabazz was “regal, compassionate, strong, loving, beautiful, resilient and well-educated” despite the fact Mary J. Blige played the character as meek and insecure. Ilyasah went on to say the wardrobe was also wrong, claiming Betty Shabazz never wore a scarf around her face.

According to The Washington Post, an unidentified A&E employee said the reason why neither of the families were consulted was to avoid any bias toward one particular family. The Shabazz family became angry with how the film showed Betty’s death. Malcolm Shabazz did start the fire when he was 12 years old. However, Betty Shabazz didn’t use her last dying breath to call Coretta Scott King like the movie suggests. They say that’s impossible due to the fact she sustained third-degree burns over most of her body.

The reality shows chronicles the lives of six Staten Island women whose family members are incarcerated for mob related crimes. Ramona is also an advocate for In Arms Reach, a charity that mentors kids who have parents that are incarcerated. She is also a gay rights activist and loves the gay community. She was on the cover of Odyssey Magazine and served as a host of the Odyssey Awards in 2012. Ramona has used her savvy business skills to launch a spray tanning line called “Bronze Glow”, with whom she teamed up with celebrity makeup artist, Roxanne Rizzo to develop. You can also see Ramona gracing the covers of various magazines including, Rhymes and Dimes, Open Closet Magazine, and Odyssey Magazine.

Ramona will hit the runway at this year’s NYC Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, where she will join more than a dozen other reality stars for the Reality on the Runway show.
