Trey Songz Arrested For Throwing Bandz

According to a report released by TMZ today, it seems the answer to that question is yes. Apparently, when Trigga held his Chapter V album release party at Club Perfection in Queens, NY this past summer, he got into what was referred to as an “altercation” inside the club. We all know Perfection is a strip club – so how could one get arrested for throwing bandz?

Well, turns out Trey has bad aim – some of the money he threw hit the female in question in the eye, “causing substantial pain to her left eye”. Let’s just hope that Trigga doesn’t try to leave his music career for basketball anytime soon – with aim like that, a career in ball doesn’t seem too bright.

Trey was not arrested on the night of the incident (August 21), but was later charged with a misdemeanor assault. TMZ reported that he had a court date on November 1 and an order of protection was issued against him, and he’s set to appear in court again in February.

(VIDEO) Raekwon Talks ‘Lost Jewelry’ EP, Wu-Tang 20th Anniversary, & ‘Cruel Winter’

Prior to taking the stage for his Hurricane Sandy relief show at Brooklyn venue Jaguar 3 on Thursday night, Raekwon sat down with HHNM and discussed the latest with his upcoming Lost Jewelry EP, whether or not there’s something special in-store for Wu-Tang’s 20th anniversary next year and if he’ll be jumping on G.O.O.D. Music’s Cruel Summer. The Chef says that his EP will serves as an appetizer of sorts for the main entree which will of course be his next full-lenght album. While a Wu-Tang 20th anniversary project remains up in the air, in the above clip Rae maintains the possibility of something from the group to mark the occasion. As far as Cruel Winter goes, it sounds like a Raekwon feature is only one call to Shaolin away.

20 were children among the 26 victims of Connecticut school shooting

Dressed in black fatigues and a military vest, a heavily armed man walked into a Connecticut elementary school Friday and opened fire, shattering the quiet of this southern New England town and leaving the nation reeling at the number of young lives lost.

Within minutes, 26 people were dead at Sandy Hook Elementary School — 20 of them children. Among the six adults killed were Dawn Hochsprung, the school’s beloved principal, and school psychologist Mary Sherlach.

The shooter, identified by three law enforcement officials as 20-year-old Adam Lanza, also was killed, apparently by his own hand. Separately, his mother’s body was found at a Newtown residence.

“Stuff like this does not happen in Newtown,” a tight-knit community of about 27,000 just outside Danbury, said Renee Burn, a local teacher at another school in town. In the past 10 years, only one homicide had previously been reported.

Pretty Lou and Staff send our Prayers & Condolences to the families and friends affected by this horrific tragedy. May God carry you in comfort during these difficult times.
