Kendrick Lamar’s ‘King Kunta’ is the next single from his To Pimp A Butterfly album that has been the talk of Hip-Hop for some weeks now.
He premiered the video in NYC and Downtown LA a little earlier and here goes the official version which was shot entirely in Compton with cameos from a bunch of people are all known by Kendrick personally. Get funky with them below.

The much awaited commercial aka trailer for the upcoming film Straight Outta Compton has been released today. The upcoming biographical drama film is directed by F. Gary Gray and revolves around the rise and fall of the Compton, California rap group N.W.A, whose members include Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren and DJ Yella.
The trailer features an intro by Dr. Dre and Ice Cube with special appearances from The Game and Kendrick Lamar. Movie hits theaters August 14.
UPDATE: A new “theatrical” trailer for the film has been released today by MTV. This is looking good.
