Ashanti Talks Relationship With 50 Cent

Ashanti recently made a stop on Shade 45 for an interview with DJ Whoo Kid on his Whoolywood Shuffle show. She discussed her new single ‘I Got It’ featuring Rick Ross, doing television, pushing her own label Written Entertainment, being single and more.

At the 10:50 mark, Ashanti talks about her relationship with 50 Cent and how they had nothing personal against each other during the G-Unit-Murder Inc. beef. She tells the interesting story when 50 apologized to her once (for dissing her on songs during the beef) at the VMAs at the behest of Nelly.
